LEGO ® Therapy

LEGO ® therapy is a group play based therapy for children, using LEGO ® bricks and the therapeutic powers of play to support children in developing:

  • Friendships and the ability to work as a team,

  • Communication and language skills,

  • problem solving skills,

  • confidence and emotional wellbeing,

  • adaptability and coping skills,

  • concentration and focus,

  • fine motor skills.

LEGO ® therapy offers a structured, predictable environment which enables children to feel regulated and engaged during the session.  The sessions involve a group of three children working together to build a model and also allows a time for unstructured LEGO ® building to support creativity and imagination.

Suitable for children aged 4 - 11
